Typing on a keyboard rather than writing with a pen has made me a different writer. It has improved my writing because when I type I can check my spelling and grammar. Also typing helps me think about what I am writing because I have to write slower and I have to think about what I am typing rather than just rushing through it. So in conclusion, typing on a computer has made me a slower but better writer.

  1. Hey Matt. That's a pretty interesting view on the topic. However, what I want you to focus on is content as opposed to grammar. Which is easier to convey your thoughts, a keyboard or a pen? Grammar and spelling are important, but I think content is the most important thing when it comes to writing.

  2. Hi, I'm Danielle. In some ways I do believe that typing can be better, but writing also has it's pros. English classes are always teaching and helping you with grammar and spelling. The mistakes that grammar and spell check pick up are ones that you should eventually be able to pick up on our own. Which is better at keeping you focused? Computers have many games and the internet on it. Does that affect the results of your work at all?
